A monthly read for your development needs.

In 1978, renowned poet Maya Angelou published Still I Rise. This poem screams to me: “I am a Black woman and, against all odds, I am power and light!” As an Indigenous Brown immigrant, I relate to and am inspired by my Black and Brown sisters leading impactful work in our communities across the world. I open doors, create space, and raise funds to contribute my power and light. I RAISE so that my Black and Brown community may RISE.

🥂 Cheers,
